EDUC 561 was of the most important and valuable course that I took before. To begin with, I do believe that this's the most effective course even if it had been delivered online, because its core related to technological issues so even if were learning such materials online its not a big deal and I think its better to be delivered online where each and everyone of us is able to move smoothly and directly with the supervisor.
I am a biology teacher and basically I wasn't able to grab my students' attention as should be done and have them engaged in the learning process. Throughout this course we were introduced to several programs, applications, ideas, suggestions and thoughts that helped teacher to overcome this common universal challenge of any teacher in the world. I would like to mention that kahoot, nearpod and Quizzlet were really a pretty solution for while I'm teaching online. Since the big challenge of the teacher is to reach each student in a classroom, this course came to help teachers and provide convincing and effective suggestions to have each student in the teacher's net, in which students were able to share their experiences through collaborative board the teacher has access to it where she'll be able to know what each student is thinking about.Other than giving a very impressive print on our daily life through our daily work, this course also helped us to become more sociable creatures, but the question is "How"? Actually this blog itself helped us to become more sociable, share our daily school life with the students and maybe recognizing people that have common interests and problems which can really help us grow as teachers and individuals.
